HUGH McGONAGLE DEAD
Hugh McGonagle, aged 81 years, a Civil War veteran, formerly a
resident of Clayton township, died at his home in Zanesville last week. He
fell last winter and broke his hip and since then his health had been
steadily declining.
Besides his wife, he is survived by six children, as follows: Mrs. WJ
Dolan of Columbus, Michael of Akron, August and Fred of the home and John
S. of Bremen. Another son, Howard has not been heard from for a number of
years and it is not known if he is living or dead.
Funeral services were held last Wednesday morning at Zanesville, where
burial was made.
